If I Had to Live My Life Over

“… I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage. I would have talked less and listened more. I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained, or the sofa faded. I would have eaten the popcorn in the ‘good’ living room and worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace. … I would have sat on the lawn with my kids, even if it meant grass stains.”

Bubbles

We are back...

I guess while I am layed up, I have no excuse to not post. I am not going to go back, but go forward from here...
Madalyn had her kindergarten graduation on Tuesday. I can hardly believe it! I now have a first grader and she couldn't be more excited. We feel so fortunate to have had such a great kindergarten teacher. Mrs. Jones, you rock! She is everything you want a kindergarten teacher to be. I still remember a lot about my teacher, Mrs. Maughn. I loved her! And I am sure Madalyn will look back and have just as many fond memories of Mrs. Jones as I do of Mrs. Maughn.

Madalyn has learned so much and grown so much this year. She is a very smart girl who has worked very hard and truly loves school. (note: she did not get this from her parents) She loves everyone and has many friends. I just hope her excitement for school continues...
